Camp Guggenheim
At Camp Guggenheim, we meet young people where they are and walk with them on their
faith journeys. Confident that "the best learning takes place when taught by example,"
campers have the opportunity to build lasting friendships with responsible adult
counselors. Consequently, each camp staff member is chosen very carefully. At
Guggenheim, living and proclaiming the Gospel with love and concern for all, guides our
way of life.

The director, and the well-trained staff of friendly and caring counselors guide the
entire program with sincere interest in every camper. Counselors have been chosen for
their faith commitment and their skills in particular areas. All staff members have
completed at least their first year of college before serving on the staff team.

The waterfront program is directed by a team of American Red Cross certified
lifeguards. The waterfront is carefully supervised, and swimming and boating rules are
strictly enforced.

A full-time medical director is on staff and is prepared to provide professional
assistance whenever needed.

A Catholic priest also lives at Camp during the summer, offering emotional and spiritual
support and guidance to campers.
